Erwin Junker Machinery, located in Chicopee, Massachusetts, is a subsidiary of the worldwide Junker Group network. The Group is dedicated to research, development, and manufacturing grinding, mill-turn, hard turning, straightening, and air cleaning systems. The first company, Erwin Junker Maschinenfabrik, had humble beginnings in 1962 in Nordrach, Germany where a total of 3 people, including the founder Erwin Junker, created the first fully automatic grinding machine. Thirty-eight years later, and innovation after innovation, the company has swelled to approximately 1000 employees around the world and represented in 45 countries.
